Your financial data is your business. We keep it safe.

Information We Collect

We collect account details, transaction data, receipt images, device information, and support messages. That's it. We do not ask for data that is not needed to run the platform.

What comes in

Registration details create and secure your account. Expense data and receipt images let the system match amounts, vendors, categories, and dates. Device and browser data help us spot sign-in issues and reduce fraud risk.

How AI touches the data

AI reads the fields needed to classify expenses, flag duplicates, and prepare reports. Human review is limited to support, security, and legal obligations. We do not use personal financial data for broad model training.

Cookies and session data

We use essential cookies for login, session stability, and saved preferences. Non-essential tracking is kept to a minimum and tied to site function, not hidden profiling.

How We Use Your Data

We use expense data to process transactions, generate reports, support audits, and meet legal duties. We do not sell personal data. Plain and simple.

  • Reporting and reconciliation

We build automated reports, export summaries, and budget views from the records you upload or connect.

  • Product improvement

Anonymised and aggregated usage data helps us find errors, fix workflows, and improve accuracy.

  • Legal and compliance work

We retain and disclose data only when required for tax, accounting, security, or lawful requests.

Protection

How We Protect Your Information

Security is built into the platform and the process around it. We protect data in transit and at rest, limit access, and check the system on a schedule.

Encryption

AES-256 protects stored data. TLS protects data moving between your browser and our systems.

Access controls

Role-based access keeps sensitive records visible only to approved staff and authorised users.

Testing and monitoring

We run quarterly third-party penetration tests and monitor for unusual account or system activity.

SOC 2 Type II ready

Controls are mapped to common compliance expectations for finance teams.

Fast response plan

If a breach matters to you, we notify affected users and follow the legal timeline.

Audit-friendly logs

Key actions are recorded so internal teams can review access and changes.

Your Rights & Contact

You can ask to access, correct, delete, or limit personal data where the law allows. You can also opt out of non-essential messages. We answer privacy requests directly.
